Any firearm that is sent to our business has the legal obligation to:
- SIGN AND ACCEPT the firearm
- UNPACKAGE, and verify all state and federal requirements of that firearm
- LOG AND SECURE firearm for a customer transfer
If for whatever reason the firearm is chosen to be returned, is denied or just doesn’t want to continue with the transfer process, fees WILL BE INCURRED. We would be required to now Log out the specific firearm, safely repackage the item, drive to a suitable firearm acceptable facility and pay to have the firearm (shipped by 2 day air for a handgun or by ground for a long gun). Those actions have time and costs. Our fee without exception is $50 for handguns (total) and $35 for long guns plus actual shipping costs. We are not here to screw anyone, nor are we here to do free services. Everyone charges fees if that happens at their business I’m just telling you what our costs are up front.
