Storage and Untransferred Firearms

Weapons received from customer orders or FFLs

Any firearm that is sent to our business has the legal obligation to:

- SIGN AND ACCEPT the firearm

- UNPACKAGE, and verify all state and federal requirements of that firearm

- LOG AND SECURE firearm with ATF acquisition and prepare for a customer transfer.

If for whatever reason the firearm is chosen to be returned, is denied or just doesn’t want to continue with the transfer process, fees WILL BE INCURRED. Our fee without exception is $65 for handguns (excluding the cost of shipping and additional insurance) and $75 (excluding shipping costs and insurance) for most basic long guns. All firearms will have to be logged in, out, bunch of emails back and forth, new packaging, paperwork and driving over waiting in line and handing it to the shipper. These fees may be reduced, we are not here to screw anyone, nor are we here to do free services. Some shady sellers will send damaged, scratched, broken or bent firearms with hefty insurance so they can claim shipping damage and make out like a bandit only to screw you the customer and me out of my time. its buyer beware when you order from strange people. Everyone charges fees if that happens at their business I’m just telling you what our costs are up front.  Be certain the firearm you are shipping to be transferred is acceptable in the State of Illinois and YOUR CITY.

Firearm Pickup or Storage

Once we have received and logged your firearm with the ATF and we have made multiple attempts to contact you after 7 days of no response the clock starts ticking. We expect some type of correspondence with the intentions of coming and doing the background application. After 21 total days of failure to ARRANGE or show up. storage fees will begin to accumulate. (We understand you may be out of town or other type of strenuous circumstances and based on circumstances may work with you - but we are not a storage locker) After 28 days and every subsequent 28 days storage fees of $25 (handguns) $35 (long guns) for the 1st month will be incurred to the transfer fee. Prices increases to $50 - $75 the 2nd month and after 84 total days in my possession a final $100 will be added and the firearm will be considered abandoned and I will sell it for fair market value, retain all costs incurred for paperwork, storage and shipping send a certified check of the balance to address listed as the purchaser. We don’t want to store your firearms.

This is in no way a scam or way for me to make money, we provide a service and expect timely responses and actions to limit the number of firearms we have on-site. Thank You for your cooperation.

Unexpected situations

Damaged or additional correspondence

Our prices include acceptance, logging, notification, background application and the disposition of an approved firearm to an approved applican. Our rates are extremely reasonable and cheaper than most. Additional correspondence, actions, emails, phone calls, pictures and whatever else that may take place as a result of missing paperwork, damaged equipment, questionable identification or a falsified application WILL INCUR additional costs. No other business is going to deal with incompetent sellers or persons who misinterpret or misrepresent their firearms for sale. I highly recommend you know or have confidence in the seller you are buying from and the condition of the firearm before purchasing. i have personally and professionally dealt with sellers who ship damaged items to fraudulently file a claim for “damaged during shipping“ with carriers to make up for a broken item and it turns into a mess. Someone will pay for that mess and it won’t be me. If this policy is not something you’re prepared for pick a different seller or a different FFL. Buyer beware, other FFL’s will have similar costs and we’re just telling you upfront.
